MR. JOSEPH M. FRYE, SR. Mr. Joseph Marion Frye, Sr., 69, former Mayor of Spring Hill and resident of Osteen Lane in Lewisburg, died Friday, February 28, 2003 at Marshall Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Pastor Jerry Yerkes officiating. Burial will be in the Allen Cemetery in the Caney Springs Community. The Marshall County native was son of the late Joseph M. Frye and Annie Sue Hill Frye and a 1952 graduate of Marshall County High School. Mr. Frye was retired from Middle Tennessee Tractor Company, former owner of Spring Hill Feed & Seed Company and former member of the Franklin Lions Club. He was a member and former elder of South Trinity Presbyterian Church, former deacon of the Church of the Good Shepherd and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Joan Osteen Frye of Lewisburg; a daughter, LeeAnn Frye of Hendersonville; a son, Joseph M. (Jennifer) Frye, Jr. of Pulaski; five grandchildren, Dana Ytzen and Holly Ytzen of Hendersonville, Jessica Frye of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Riley Frye and Ryan Brumitt of Pulaski; a niece, Suzanne Frye (Gary) Warf of Mooresville; a nephew, Lynn Kennedy Frye of Mooresville.
