View Funeral WebcastJoseph Shane Reischman, 41, died at his residence in Culleoka on May 4, 2016.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Father Davis Chackaleckel and Pastor Steve Livengood officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of the services at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial be made to CB&S Bank, P.O. Box 489, Pulaski, TN 38478 for the children of Shane Reischman. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Shane was baptized and raised as Communicant of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. He attended First Family Baptist Church with his family. Shane grew up playing sports and being devoted to his family and friends. He graduated in 1992 as Valedictorian from Culleoka High School. He received a full Academic/ Basketball Scholarship to Martin Methodist College in Pulaski. He met his future wife, Tricia Reed while at Martin Methodist College. Upon graduation from Martin Methodist College, he worked at International Paper in Columbia. July 24, 1999 he married his college sweetheart, Tricia Reed. He worked for Penske Logistics for 15 years, where he was a manager of operations at the La Vergne, TN location. He was a proud and loving husband and father to his wife and four children. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with his family and lifelong friends. He was involved in his children's sporting activities and helped coach many seasons of his son Walker's Cal Ripkin Baseball Teams. Shane exemplified humbleness and gratitude in his daily life. He devoted his life to his family and dear friends. He was member of the Pulaski Lodge 101 Free and Accepted Masons, where he was former Master of the Lodge in 2005. Shane had a loving heart and always lived his life as an example of his faith and love. He was always willing to give a helping hand and loved to help others. Shane is survived by his devoted wife of 16 years Tricia Reed Reischman of Culleoka; sons, Walker Reed Reischman, Gunner Shane Reischman both of Culleoka; daughters, Tyler Layne Reischman, Kendall Josie Reischman both of Culleoka; parents, Joseph Edward Reischman and Edna Marie Roberts Reischman of Columbia; brother, Todd (Darlene) Reischman of Columbia; sister, Heather Reischman of Columbia; father and mother-in-law, The Reverend Thomas Leon Reed and Hilda Pope Reed of Goodsprings; brothers-in-law, Todd (Stephanie) Reed of Maryville, Troy (Tiffini) Reed of Elmont, AL; nieces and nephews, Rylee Reischman, Hayden Reischman, Hunter Reischman, Trenton Reed, Katherine Reed, Cierra Reed, Tucker Reed; and God parents, (Aunt Mary) Sister Joseph Marie OP and Uncle Thomas Reischman.Active pallbearers will be Todd Reischman, Todd Reed, Troy Reed, Duck Morrow, Jon St. Clair, John Reischman, Mike Reischman, and T.J. Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Kelley, Wayne Davis, Brady Bennett, and Gary Baucom.
