Mrs. Josephine Borders Hatcher, 77, retired owner-operator of Hillview Restaurant since 1970 and resident of North James Campbell Boulevard, died Tuesday, December 3, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. The body will be conveyed to Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown, Kentucky for services Friday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Hatcher Family Cemetery in Butler County, Kentucky. She was married October 5, 1948 to Darold Glyn Hatcher who died June 20, 1983. Survivors include four daughters, Carol (Frank) Stewart of Culleoka, Pam (Kenneth Steward) Davidson of Williamsport, Onie (Larry) Blocker and Jerri (Jerry) Grooms, all of Columbia; two sons, Bobby (Tammy) Hatcher and James (Diana) Hatcher, both of Columbia; three sisters, Ethleen Ray of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Lorene Brown of Florida, and Jewel (Robert) Yarbourgh of Louisiana; a brother, Charles Borders of Vine Grove, Kentucky; grandchildren, Glyn Stewart, Ben Stewart, Paula Marshall, Katie Hatcher, Jamie Vandygriff, Robert Hatcher, Jr., Larry Wayne Blocker, Jr., Darold Hatcher, Kami Grooms, and Kerrie Grooms; great-grandchildren, Kayla Holt, Kaitlyn Stewart, Adam Stewart, Alex Stewart, Stratton Marshall, Addison Marshall, Malynna Vandygriff, Courtney Hatcher, and Keely Blocker. Pallbearers are Glyn Stewart, Ben Stewart, Larry Wayne Blocker, Robert Hatcher, Darold Hatcher, and Frank Stewart.
