Joy McCormack Mrs. Joy Caldwell McCormack, 79, resident of Rainey St., died Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Polk Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ray Newell officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 -8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Howell P. Caldwell and Frances Gambill Caldwell. She was married to James L. McCormack who preceded her in death May 7, 1986. Mrs. McCormack was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include one son, Jim "Jimbo" McCormack of Columbia; one daughter, Janie Sanders of Columbia; one sister, Jane Luna of Columbia; three grandchildren, Allison McCormack of Columbia, Scott Sanders of Springfield, Missouri, Patrice Roberts of High Ridge, Missouri; and two great-grandchildren, Delia Roberts and Noah Roberts.
