Joyce Fay Haynes, 84, retired longtime manicurist at Cain-Sloan in Nashville, died Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Grace Health Care in Franklin. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville with Leonard McGugin officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Born October 8, 1932, in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Alex Haynes and the late Electa Sisson Haynes. She had attended Columbia Central High School and was an avid doll collector. Miss Haynes was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church. Survivors include her brother, Jerry P. (Betty) Haynes of Culleoka; niece, Nancy (Leonard) McGugin of Franklin; nephews, Phil Haynes and Tony (Leighanne) Haynes of Kingston Springs; and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Chapman, Doris Dorrow, Ruth Hunter, and Carol Evans; and brother, James Haynes. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
