Joyce Faye King Jones, 76, resident of Wildview Drive in Nashville, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Gray and Reverend Elizabeth Overstreet officiating. Burial will follow in McCains Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00- 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Mack Ray King, Sr. and Lillie Mae Grissom King Parham. She retired from Baird Ward Printing Company where she was a press operator. Mrs. Jones was raised up in Emmanuel Church of Christ and more recently attended Full Gospel Mission Church in Nashville. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her beloved dog, Roxie. Survivors include her sons, Joe (Mary Ann) Jones of Murfreesboro, and Jeff (Terry) Jones of Smyrna; grandchildren, David Jones, Christy (Jay) Brown, Michelle (Brandon) Coffee, Michael (Jessica) Jones, and D'Wayne Wray; great grandchildren, Kayla Cowan, Simon Mann, Autumn Jones, Cameron Wray, Brayden Jones, Kolton Coffee, Emily Brown, Evan Jones, and Landon Jones; half brother, Doyle (Susie) Parham; step-father, L. D. Parham; brother-in-law, James White; beloved dog, Roxie; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mack Ray King, Jr.; sister, Janice Sue King White; grandparents, Laura & George Grissom; and great grandchild, Hunter Ogles. Active pallbearers will be David Jones, Michael Jones, D'Wayne Wray, Jay Brown, Brandon Coffee, and Josh Parham.
