Juanita Josephine Dodson Land

Mrs. Juanita Josephine "Jo" Dodson Land, 64, went home to be with her Lord & Savior September 4, 2007. She was born in Franklin, Tennessee to the late Herman Dodson, Sr. and Edna Bell Dodson. She formerly lived in Nashville, Tennessee and Okeehobee, Florida where she was employed by Golden Corral. She was more recently employed by Chik-Fil-A in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and attended the Gospel Tabernacle in Chickamauga, Georgis. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 23 years, Duane Lee Land of Chickamauga, Georgia; children and spouses, Donald and Lois Gibbs, Jr. of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Connie Jo Gibbs of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Melissa and Mont Pewitt of Franklin, Tennessee, Kimberly and Rodney Dill of Chickamauga, Georgia; step-daughter, Theresa and Leroy Van Dusen of Indiana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herman and Carol Dodson of Darlington, Wisconsin and Ronnie and Pat Dodson of Old Hickory, Tennessee; sister, Joyce Dodson of Columbia; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Dodson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. (edt) at Wilson Funeral Home in LaFayette, Georgia with Pastor Joey Kelley officiating. The family will visit with friends all day Thursday and prior to services Friday at Wilson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. (cdt) at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia.
