Mrs. Juanita Anderson Riley Mrs. Juanita Anderson Riley, 74, a resident of Denise Drive, died Saturday, May 1, 2004 at Life Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Elmer Lusk and Jack White officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Eastside Church of Christ Building Fund, 1024 East Valley Drive, Columbia, 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Nathan Anderson and Ethel Whiteside Anderson. She was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ. She was married in 1946 to Elmer Olney "Dick" Riley, who died February 13, 1973. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Ann Riley and Nita Carol (Tommy) Lentz, both of Columbia; a sister, Mary Tom Smith of Columbia; three grandchildren, Shea Lentz, Scott Lentz and Shelby Lentz, all of Columbia; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Olney Ray "Dickey" Riley; two sisters, Edna Dunn and Agnes Baker; two brothers, Edgbert Anderson and Simpson Anderson. Active pallbearers are Larry Nicholson, Loyce Anderson, William D. "Buddy" Smith, Trevor Gilmer, Larry Baker, Milton Baker, James Spires and Joe Wade. Honorary pallbearers include Rebecca Greenfield, Elders and Deacons of Eastside Church of Christ and staff of the Oncology Department at Maury Regional Hospital.
