View Funeral Service Webcast Juanita Thompson Henry Tieman, 85, retired from AT&T and Bell South and resident of McIntire Drive, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with John Vaughan and Wendell Robinson officiating. Burial wil be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Campbell Tilden Thompson and Myrtle Thompson Pylant. She was a 1942 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She was a member of Graymere Church of Christ and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Nat Brown Henry and Chester Tieman. Survivors include a son, Pete (Paula) Henry of Columbia; grandchildren, Paul (Lee Ann) Henry of Houston, Texas, Helen (Joshua) Speights of Denver, Colorado, and Heather (Jon) Hassell of Atlanta, Georgia; great-granddaughter, Anna Henry; step-son, Leonard (Carol) Tieman of Dallas, Texas; step-grandchildren, Jill (Dave) Wilkerson and Stephanie (Chris) Rohloff; three step-great-grandchildren.Active pallbearers are Paul Henry, Joshua Speights, Jon Hassell, Donny Walters, Sam Beddingfield, and Carter Hill. Telephone Pioneers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
