Judy Couch Jones & Billy Jones

Judy Ann Couch Jones, 74, homemaker, died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Williamson Medical Center and Billy Jones, 79, retired senior field inspector for Underwriters Laboratories, died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 7:00 P.M. at Highland Church of Christ with David Morris officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Military honors will be provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. Private family burial will be held in Oak Grove-Davis Cemetery. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.   Judy was born December 4, 1944 in Lewis County, and was the daughter of the late George Willie Couch and the late Bessie Massey Couch. Billy was born June 10, 1940 in Lewis County, and was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones. On December 8, 1967, they were married and shared fifty-one years of marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Jones enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren. They were faithful Christians and members of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include their children, Brad (Jenny) Jones of Nolensville; Kim (David) Morton of Franklin; grandchildren, Abby Morton, Elizabeth Morton, Brooklyn Jones, and Audrey Jones; Judy’s siblings, Charles (Robbie Jo) Couch of Hohenwald; Doug (Evelyn) Couch of Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
