Judy Richardson Jones

Judy Richardson Jones, 55, former employee of the Parts Departments at Barr Motors and Parks Motor Sales, died Friday, May 5, 2017, at her residence on Valley Creek Road. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born June 20, 1961, in Champaign, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lee Richardson and the late Annie Lou McNeece Richardson. On August 3, 1979, she married William Ray Jones, who preceded her in death March 1, 2009. She was a 1979 graduate of Culleoka High School. Mrs. Jones had also been previously employed as clerk at Harris Foodland. She was a member of Mooresville Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Trina (Larry) Williams of Culleoka; brother Joe Lee (Matt Hesson) Richardson of Culleoka; nephew, Steven (Jennifer) Williams of Lewisburg; and great nieces, Victoria Koeneke of Murfreesboro and Morgan Lee Williams of Lewisburg. Pallbearers will be Mike Jett, James Johnson, Scott Williams, Steven Williams, Jimmy Flowers, and Danny Marshall.
