View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Judy Kay Gilliam Wiseman, 64, homemaker and resident of Columbia, died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Swango officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born February 2, 1957 in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Gilliam and the late Ann Rummage Gilliam. An avid writer, she wrote one book being published and three more ready to be published. Mrs. Wiseman loved to read, knit and crochet. She never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Most of all, Mrs. Wiseman loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, whom she married July 11, 1975, Ronnie Wiseman of Columbia; daughters, Melanie (Russell) Brown, and Cindy Kay (Corey) Davis; grandchildren, Elizabeth Haislip, Jonathan Brown, Nevaeh Davis, and Liam Davis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Thomas. Active pallbearers will be Russell Brown, Corey Davis, Christopher Davis, James Wiseman, Jimmy Watson, and Michael Wiseman.
