View Funeral Webcast Judy Elaine Smithson Woodard, 62, resident of Baptist Church Road in the Culleoka Community, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Calvin Hardison officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery in the Rally Hill Community. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. Born and reared in Maury County, she was married June 22, 1966 to Alvis Ray Woodard, Sr. Mr. Woodard died May 7, 2007. Her hobbies included reading magazines, working jigsaw puzzles and puzzle books, sewing and most of all, spoiling her granddaughters. Survivors include a son, Alvis "Alby" (DeDee) Woodard, Jr. of Culleoka; a sister, Terrie Smithson Roland of Culleoka; brothers, Roger (Debbie) Smithson of Columbia, David (Shelia) Smithson of Mt. Pleasant, Jimmy (Jerlene) Smithson of Lewisburg, and Jeff (Sara) Smithson of Culleoka; her father, Aubrey Smithson, Sr. of Culleoka; granddaughters, Sherry Woodard and Blaire Woodard of Culleoka; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her motber, Jean Harris Smithson; a daughter, Donna Jean Woodard; a sister, Peggy Williams; and brothers, Larry Smithson and Jerry Smithson. Active pallbearers are John Campbell, Jeff Smithson, Clint Smithson, Chad Bailey, Timmy Dunkle, Charlie Williams, James Smithson, and Windell Westmoreland. Honorary pallbearers include Donnie Chapman, Terry Johnson, Keith Farmer and Maury Farmers Co-op family and friends.
