View Funeral WebcastMrs. June Perry Patrick, 82, resident of Locust St., died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Dr. Carl Duck and Rev. Rick Elsey officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 900 West Seventh St., Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Clarksville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Barksdale Perry and Lillian Elizabeth Jarman Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome "Jerry" Kile Patrick who died March 24, 1975. She was an excellent seamstress who worked from her home and later worked at A&P Grocery and Giant Foods. She was a member of the Maury Regional Auxiliary and the Super Stars. Mrs. Patrick was a member of West End Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Kile (Connie) Patrick of Columbia; daughters, Gail (Roger) Gilliam and Susannah "Susie" Maddux both of Columbia; longtime friend, Faye Pyland; grandchildren, David Dodson, Patrick Gilliam, Luke Maddux; great grandchildren, Grace Dodson, Jack Gilliam; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be David Dodson, Patrick Gilliam, Luke Maddux, C.T. Johnson, Shelby Carpenter, Dean Dickey, Jimmy Turner, Lawrence Johns and Gerald Martin. Honorary pallbearers include members of the Joy Sunday School Class at West End Baptist Church and the staff of NHC Hillview.
