View Funeral WebcastJustin Daniel "Duke-Duke" White, 9, resident of Columbia Highway in Lynnville, died Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ron Eversole and Dave Zeigler officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Heritage Bank and Trust, c/o Joddie and Karen White, 217 S. James M. Campbell Blvd., Columbia, TN, 38401. A native of Giles County, Justin was the son of Joddie Daniel and Karen Elizabeth Allen White. He attended Southside Elementary School in Pulaski and was a member of Central Christian Church. Justin was a very loving, happy child who loved school, music, family and Chinese food. In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters, Nichole E. Jennette of Lynnville, Danielle L. White of Spring Hill; brother, Timothy J. Jennette of Lynnville; maternal grandparents, Keith R. and Carol Osmar Allen of Lynnville; maternal great-grandparents, Loring and Gerry Neville Osmar of Brimley, Michigan; Joanna Allen of Big Rapids, Michigan; aunts, Kathleen Allen (Michael) King, Kelly Allen, Joanie Osborne all of Lynnville; an uncle, Mark Allen of Lynnville; and several cousins and great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Wilson Allen, maternal great-grandmother, Beulah Ross Allen, paternal grandfather, Roy D. White, paternal grandmother, Ruth Kennemore White and an uncle, Robert Keith Allen. Pallbearers will be Mark Allen, David King, Blake Crawford and Cameron Calkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Seth King and Ethan King. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital, to Dr. Carol Broadway and to their extended family at McDonald's.
