John Kameron Delk, 23, self-employed landscaper and resident of Hazelwood Drive, died Friday, September 9, 2005, as the result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Kirk Brothers officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. Mr. Delk was a graduate of Spring Hill High School. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his parents, Sloan & Belinda Delk of Spring Hill; mother, Tammy Estes of Columbia; stepson, Jonathan Matlock of Columbia; fiancée, Chrissy Matlock of Columbia; three brothers including twins, Colby Delk and Orrin Delk, both of Spring Hill; Jeremy Delk of Columbia; two sisters, Chelsea Delk of Spring Hill; Starla Austin of Columbia; paternal grandparents, Charles & Larissa Delk of Hendersonville; maternal grandfather, Buster Greer of Columbia; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by son, Haden Matlock and maternal grandmother, Marie Greer. Pallbearers will be Greg Morgan, Todd Burchell, Chase Estes, Brian Ridley, Billy Ridley, Mike Street, Donald Ray Mosley, and Jeremy Kirkland.
