Karen Tucker Asmar

Ms. Karen Lynn Tucker Asmar, 50, receptionist for Volunteer Insurance Services and resident of Columbia Garden Apartments, died Tuesday, December 22, 2008 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Friday at WellSpring Christian Church located in Spring Elementary School, 5359 Main St., Spring Hill with Andy Hudelson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to WellSpring Christian Church, 1001 Chapman's Crossing, Spring Hill, TN, 37174. A native of Rensselaer, Indiana she was the daughter of the late L.C. Tucker and Dalphine Sexton Tucker. She was a 1976 graduate of Rensselaer Central High School and a member of WellSpring Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Phillip Asmar of Columbia; daughter, Kaitlyn Asmar of Columbia; sister, Debbie Tucker (Dave) Pugh of Columbia; three brothers, Lonnie Tucker of Montana, Ronn (Patti) Tucker of California, Dennis Tucker of Hawaii; three nephews, Luke Tucker, Shane Tucker, Travis Tucker; one niece, Grace Tucker; and two great-nephews. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Moses "Gene" Asmar.
