Katherine Copeland

Mrs. Katherine Mosley Copeland, 85, resident of N. Bigby Drive, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Robert R. Mosley and Nola Pinkelton Mosley. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbia. Survivors include two sons, Bobby Wayne Copeland of Alabama, Billy Copeland of Savannah, Georgia; brother, Grover Mosley of California; nephew, George W. Jones, Jr. of Columbia; niece, Patsy Mosley of Columbia; and special friends, Pam Scott, James & Brittney Bowling, Scott Tucker Bowling and Addie Dickey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. Copeland, brother, Horace Mosley and half-brother, George W. Jones.
