A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Mike Cowart officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Born February 3, 1928 in Los Angeles County, California, she was the daughter of the late Clyde L. Richards and the late Eileen Josephine Franciscotti Richards. On April 19, 1947, she married Morgan Edward McDonald, Sr. who preceded her in death January 18, 1995. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was always up for a good game of cards and a good political discussion. Mrs. McDonald was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her daughters, Margaret McDonald; Melanie Menke both of Columbia; grandchildren, Martin (Michele) Feigen of Buford, Georgia; Samantha (Chris) Sabatino of Spring Hill; five great grandchildren; brother, Henry Frank (Mary Christine) Richards of Apple Valley, California; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her son, Morgan McDonald, Jr. Active pallbearers will be her family and friends. Honorary pallbearers include the staff of The Reserve of Spring Hill.
