Margaret Katherine Holder Jones, 95, retired employee of Dixie Manufacturing and resident of Whatley Street, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at NHC Hillview. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 12:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Holder officiating. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of the Mooresville Community in Marshall County, she was the daughter of the late James Wesley Holder and the late Mary Lettie Stokes Holder. She was married to Loyd Preston Jones who preceded her in death May 18, 1973. After retirement from Dixie Manufacturing, she continued her love for sewing as a private seamstress. She frequently hosted parties for Dixie Manufacturing retirees. Mrs. Jones lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed traveling and working in her yard. She was a member of Mooresville Pike Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, Benny & Alice Clark Bolton of Culleoka; Nicky & Allison Bolton Wells of Franklin; Benjamin Loyd & Kelli Marshall Bolton of Columbia; Carl Wayne Clark of Great Falls, Montana; Nathaniel Douglas Wells of Franklin; Allie Clark Wells of Franklin; Samuel Loyd Bolton of Columbia; Brigette Clark Grimm of Denver, Colorado; Susan Clark of California; sisters-in-law, Thelma Jones, Betty Jones Wilson, Ruth Holder; and several nieces and nephews.
