Kathryn Huskey

Mrs. Kathryn Morgan Huskey, 62, retired switchboard operator for Lowe's Vanderbilt Plaza Hotel and resident of Lawrence Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Holland officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Buford DeWitt Morgan and Eva Byrd Morgan. Survivors include her husband, Tony Huskey of Mt. Pleasant; one son, Darrell Huskey of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Dorothy Leach of Lexington, KY; Louise Southall of Columbia; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, San Toye & Dennis Johnson of Spindale, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Margaret Huskey of Spindale, North Carolina; nieces and nephews, Danny Southall, Diane Wright, Carol Kirkland, Steve Leach, Larry Holland; and several great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
