Kay George Andrews Ellis

Mrs. Deloris Kay George Andrews Ellis, 54, hairdresser at Pizazz Beauty Salon and resident of Union Place Court, died Monday, May 19, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. James Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. Memorials may be made to Straightway Christian Center, 2620 Rankins Dr., Columbia, Tennessee, 38401. The Marshall County native was the daughter of Aline Webb George and the late Farris R. George. She was a 1967 graduate of Marshall County High School and a graduate of Columbia Cosmotology School. She was a member of Straightway Christian Center. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, William "Billy Jim" Ellis of Columbia; daughter, Amy Michelle (Eric) Allen of Portland; son, Gregory Jackson (Andrea) Andrews of Aiken, South Carolina; four step-children, William J. Ellis, Daniel A.Ellis both of Columbia, Christy (Tony) Lee of Pulaski, Lori (Allan) Lancaster of Williamsport; three sisters, Phyllis (Dan) Bond of Franklin, Dianne (Larry) McKnight of Lewisburg, Debbie (Everett) Miller of Spring Hill; two grandchildren, Lane Jackson Allen and Lindsay Paige Allen both of Portland; and three step-grandchildren, Brandon Lee of Pulaski, Tyler Lancaster and Paige Lancaster both of Williamsport. Pallbearers will be Danny Pugh, Jared McKnight, Travis McKnight, Daniel Ellis, William Ellis and Johnny Boyett. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of Pizazz Beauty Salon.
