Keith Taylor Gilliam

Keith Taylor Gilliam, died at his home in Vila Rica, Georgia on August 19, 2018.   A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia, TN, where he will be interred beside his beloved Mother.  The family will receive friends at the Higgins Hillcrest Chapel, 1 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, GA from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.higginsfuneralhomes.com.  Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with local announcements. He was born in Columbia, Tennessee on January 9, 1957 to the late Earl Taylor Gilliam Jr. and the late Jean Ann Gilliam.  He was a graduate of Campbell High School, Fairburn, GA and attended West GA College for three plus years and then joined the US Navy, where he served twelve years. He resigned from service and returned to finish his education at West Georgia University.  Keith has worked for the State of Georgia, as an Auditor for many years. He is survived by his Stepfather, Robert Haver of Alabama; Aunt and Uncle, Beverly and Richard Edwards; Cousins, Chad Edwards (Pat) and Blake Edwards (Stephanie) and their children, Uncle, David Browning and his children, Leanne, Lisa, and Todd, and as well as cousins who live in Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky, and California.
