Kenneth Jeffery "Jeff" Brooks

Kenneth Jeffery “Jeff” Brooks, 61, former Owner of Brooks Machine Company and resident of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center from complications to COVID. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Kane officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Ave. Columbia, TN 38401 in Jeff’s honor due to his love for his beloved dog, Dexter. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born December 26, 1960, he was the son of Lesa Edwards Brooks and the late Andy Brooks. He was a 1979 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mr. Brooks enjoyed fishing, grilling, cooking, wood working, and gardening. In addition to his mother, Lesa Edwards Brooks of Lewisburg, survivors include his daughter, Amanda (Mickey) Prince of Columbia; son, Matt Brooks of Spring Hill; grandchildren, Chastin Brooks, Maddex Brooks, Kaden Brooks, Addison Prince, Jackson Prince; sister, Andrea (Barry) Woodard of Lewisburg; brother, Steve (Jenny) Brooks of Ethridge; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Brooks. Active pallbearers will be Matt Brooks, Mickey Prince, Barry Woodard, Blake Woodard, Steve Brooks, and Austin Starling.
