Kenneth Wayne Mccall

Mr. Kenneth Wayne McCall, 73, retired firefighter and resident of Paul Drive, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. Graveside services were conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, at Rock Springs Cemetery with Charlie Norman officiating. An Honors Ceremony was provided by the Columbia Fire Department Honor Guard. The Maury County native was the son of the late Joseph Edward McCall, Sr. and Rita Isabell Frizzell McCall. He was retired from the Columbia Fire Department after 32 years of service. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Martha Fay Smithson McCall of Columbia; one son, Jeffery (Marcy) McCall of Pulaski; one daughter, Rita McCall of Nashville; one step-daughter, Jennifer (Greg) Stidham of Lewis County; two stepsons, John (Mary) Parr of Mt. Pleasant, Jason (Becky) Parr of Columbia; two granddaughters, April Lamb and Megan Stidham both of Lewis County; one step-grandson, Austin Parr of Columbia; three brothers, Robert (Nell) McCall of Columbia, Darrell (Lou) McCall of Guntersville, Alabama, Gene (Mable) McCall of Murfreesboro; and one sister, Mary Helen (J.T.) Fox of Gallatin. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe McCall, Jr. Pallbearers were the Columbia Fire Department Honor Guard.
