Larry Wayne Mosley, 57, employee of Morgan Brothers Electric and resident of Westover Drive, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. and Saturday from 3:00 - 6:00 P. M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Charlie Paul Mosley and Lena Grace Pratt Mosley. He was a former employee of Durango Boot Company in Franklin and more recently was a sheet metal worker for Morgan Brothers Electric. He had served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Rita Daniel Mosley of Columbia; one daughter, Carrie (Doug) Lyle of Columbia; three sons, Charles Wayne Mosley, Phillip (Heather) Mosley, and Dustin (Kelly) Mosley, all of Columbia; eleven grandchildren; one great grandchild; seven brothers, Paul Edward (Shirley) Mosley, James William (Sue) Mosley, and Doyle Steven Mosley, all of Mt. Pleasant; Robert Louis (Bonnie) Mosley, Vernon Lee Mosley, and Charlie English (Sandra) Mosley, all of Columbia; Carl Allen Mosley of Green Hill, Alabama; five sisters, Linda Faye Mosley, Winnie Ann (Robert) Sparks, and Judy Mae (Bill) Sparks, all of Mt. Pleasant; Mary Louise (Horace) Walton of Franklin; Terri Lynn (David) Martin of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Lila Ann Daniel on January 5, 2008. Pallbearers will be Willie Lawler, Walter Fitzgerald, James Hall, Van Ervin, Roger Mosley, and Allen Mosley. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris McMillian, Charlie King, Chris Crosslin, Robert William Mosley, Eddie Mosley and Steve Huey.
