Lee Seals Jr.

Leroy “Lee” Seals, Jr., 72, a retired minister, and resident of Columbia, died Sunday, December 22, 2024 at TriStar of Spring Hill. 

Born August 2, 1952 in Orange, California, he was the son of the late Leroy “Roy” Seals, Sr. and the late Phyllis Foster Seals. In 1970 Lee graduated from Orange High School, received his Bachelor in Theater from Cal State Fullerton, and later obtained his Masters of Divinity from Fuller Seminary. On November 29, 1974, he married Elissa “Lisa” Ann Enerson. 

Lee devoted his life to God, first in his local church, then in the ordained ministry for over 24 years, and continued to serve God by helping others grow closer to The Lord. Lee loved serving on Chrysalis weekends, helping teenagers find their own personal relationship with God. After his time as a full time pastor, Lee served others with his wife in the real estate business, as a Rotarian, and leading a youth drama club, while in California. Lee and Lisa felt the call to move their lives and ministry to Tennessee where they found a wonderful church to attend, Columbia First Church of the Nazarene. 

In addition to Lisa, his wife of 50 years, he is survived by their daughters, Melissa Seals who lives with them in Columbia. Sarah (Cannon) Redd of Spring Hill, FL; and grandchildren, Orion, Hope, Skylar, and Roo Redd, whom he loved very much. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Columbia First Church of the Nazarene with Lang Ingram officiating. There will be a time of remembering his full life with family and friends in attendance.
