MRS. LILA CULBERSON Mrs. Lila Ruth Ellis Culberson, 78, retired employee of Publix Shirt Company and former long-time resident of Hilltown Community, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Centerville Health Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 12:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Thomas Culberson officiating. Burial will be in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, P.O. She was married to Charles Elmer Culberson who preceded her in death August 16, 1987. She was very active in the Maury County Senior Citizens and was a member of Hilltown Church of the Nazarene.Survivors include one daughter, Kathy (Mitchell) Jackson of Columbia; two sons, Robert (Debrah) Culberson of Murfreesboro, Bill (Angie) Culberson of Columbia; one sister, Willie Mae Underwood of Akron, Ohio; one uncle, Hervie Ellis of Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Amanda Culberson, Erica Brown, Hannah Jackson, Chad Dudley, two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be C.T. Gurley, Chad Dudley, Charles Wayne Ellis, Roger Thompson, Jeremy Anderson and Mike Farkas.
