MS. LINDA YOUNG DONALDSON Ms. Linda Young Carpenter Donaldson, 44, resident of Park Plus Court, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Williamson County. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 Noon at Oakes & Nichols with Tony Curtain officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday and Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Detroit, Michigan, she earned a nursing degree through Maury Regional Hospital and worked as an LPN at Cornelia House Nursing Facility in Gallatin. Survivors include her mother, Loretta Swann Young of Columbia; a daughter, Jamie (Guy) Fogg of Columbia; two sons, Jonathan (Sandra) Carpenter and Lance "Rusty" (Crystal) Carpenter, both of Culleoka; a sister, Brenda Barber of Columbia; two brothers, Randy (Vickie) Young of Columbia and James (Tonya) Young of Virginia; a granddaughter, Ronni Danielle Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Young. Pallbearers are Paul Carpenter, Guy Fogg, Jimmy Mooningham, Harold Carpenter, David May and Lenny Ragland. Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Young, James Young.
