Linda Fay “Sister” Peters Balben, 78, resident of Morrow Branch Road in the Lynnville Community, died Sunday February 16, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Born July 25, 1941 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Henry Peters and the late Bonnie Kincaid Peters. On May 8, 1970, she married Walter H. Balben who preceded her in death on February 13, 2008. Mrs. Balben enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and playing games, where she was excelled quickly and won. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Balben (Donnie) Smith of Pulaski; grandchild, Jorey M. (Karen) Williams of Pulaski; great granddaughter, Shaylie Williams; great grandson, Jace Williams; brother, Larry (Reba) Peters of Kingston Springs; and several nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Peters, Tony Peters, and Charles Peters.
