Linda Faye Jones, 68, retired from Tennessee Farm Bureau, died after an extended illness, Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her sister’s home in Lynchburg, Tennessee Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols with Reverend Frank Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Born August 23, 1951 in Hickman County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Chester Herbert Jones and the late Charlotte Lee Jones. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant First Baptist Church and was the Sunday School Secretary. Survivors include her sister, Carolyn Hughes of Lynchburg; nieces Kristin (Jerry) Pruitt of Manchester; Brandi (Daniel) Reese of Lynchburg; great nieces, Madison Pruitt, Avery Pruitt, Kinsley Pruitt, Ryleigh Reese, Allie Reese; great nephews, Jaxon Pruitt, Isaiah Reese, Elijah Reese; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, David Chester Jones. Family will serve as pallbearers.
