Linda Joyce Hendrickson Dugger, 61, sales associate with J.C.Penney at Shadybrook Mall and resident of Davis Avenue, died Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John Russell Hendrickson and Gertrude McCandless Moore Storey. She was a 1961 graduate of Columbia Central High School and was a twenty-nine year employee of Weather-Tamer/Winning Moves. Survivors include four children, Sheryl Dugger (Raleigh) Holtam of Fairview; Hayden Scott (Tina) Vandiver and Melissa Vandiver Watson both of Columbia, Chuck (Barbara) Franklin, Jr. of Abilene, Texas; one brother, Wayne (Kitty) Overton of Madison; three grandchildren, Aletta (Junior Alarcon) Watson of Columbia, Heather Chunn of Franklin, Charity Franklin of Abilene, Texas; six great-grandchildren, Shae Barthel and Benji Barthel both of Hinesville, Georgia, Aaron Watson, Nikita Alarcon, Joseph Alarcon and Chris Alarcon all of Columbia. She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Wayne "Chris" Franklin. Pallbearers will be Bobby Jacoby, Michael Jacoby, Troy Jacoby, Jamie Kennedy, Billy Pruitt and Ardiss Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of J.C. Penney and CHS Class of 1961.
