Linda Singleton Roberts

Linda Roberts Mrs. Linda Singleton Roberts, 64, wife of Lowell G. Roberts, died Sunday, October 24, 2004 at her residence on Sam Johnson Road. Funeral services for Mrs. Roberts will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ron Eversole officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5- 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fellowship of Christian Women or the Building Fund at Central Christian Church, P.O. Box 207, Columbia, TN 38402. A native of Pratt County, Kansas she was the daughter of the late Walter R. Singleton and Genevieve Kepner Singleton. She moved to Columbia two years ago after living most of her life in the Wichita, Kansas area. Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church. She was active in the Fellowship of Christian Women at Central Christian and was a member of the Columbia Lions Club. Survivors in addition to her husband are one son, Tony (Gladys) Roberts of Franklin; one granddaughter, Kristina Roberts of Franklin; and two sisters, Alda (Delmar) Hodgkinson of Cunningham, Kansas and Wanda (Bob) Gordy of Wichita, Kansas. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Satterfield, Jim Edlin, Jack Gryglewski, Larry Deatley, Johnathan Tabb, Mylen Coble, Jamie Turnbo and Ken Belsky.
