Linda Lee Solomon

Mrs. Linda Earl Lee Solomon, 63, retired employee of General Electric and resident of Sowell Mill Pike, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Bradley and Rev. Calvin Lunn officiating. Burial will be in Loftin Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the daughter of Georgia Fergurson Lee of Columbia and the late Jasper Ward Lee. She was a 1962 graduate of Columbia Central High School and a member of Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Rusty (Betty) Solomon of Gainesboro; Rickey Solomon of Columbia; two granddaughters, Maria K. Solomon and Jessica L. Rush, both of Gainesboro; two sisters, Louise Crick of Culleoka; Genie (Steve) Harville of Campbellsville; two brothers, Edward (Pam) Lee of Columbia; David (Joanne) Lee of Center Valley, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Maria Lee Solomon and one brother, Leonard W. Lee. Pallbearers will be Leonard W. Lee, Jr., Jeff Lee, Wayne Crick, David Lee, Anthony Lee, Joseph Lee, Andy Lee, T. J. Hendrix, and Eddie Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Love, Jeff Kirtley, Bill Cothran, James Lee, Charlie Lee, Doug Lee, Floyd Lee, Earl Ray Westmoreland, and Steve Harville.
