Linda Gail Runions Williams, 70, retired nursing tech for Heritage Manor and resident of Columbia, died Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Born April 11, 1952 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Maybern Runions, Sr. and the late Evelyn McKennon Cook. Mrs. Williams enjoyed cross stitching, reading her Bible, singing the church choir, and going to church. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Katrina. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James Williams; sons, Calvin Williams, David (Cathy) Williams, Maybern Jr (Saundra) Runions, all of Columbia; grandchildren, Lindsay Williams, Courtney Williams; brother, Maybern Runions, Jr. of Columbia; sisters, Janie Clark of Nashville; Roseanna (Roger) Jones of Mt. Pleasant, brother-in-law Doyle Tomlin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Tomlin; and brother, Calvin Runions.
