Lonnie Wayne Himes

Lonnie Wayne Himes, 45, driver for Your Taxi Company, died Saturday, November 4, 2006 at his residence on West 15th Street. Family and friends will gather for visitation Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Burial will be at Sheboss Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was son of the late Dewey Allen Himes and Martha Fay Himes. He was an avid coon hunter and member of the Maury County Coon Hunters Association. Survivors include beloved friend, Virginia Gale Pylant of Columbia; five sisters, Shelia (Jeff) Davis of Mt. Pleasant, Mary (William) Lester of Murfreesboro, Ann Morton of Old Hickory, Judy (Buddy) Watson of Summertown, Rachel Himes of Homer, Georgia; a brother, Charles Ray Himes of Hohenwald; best friend, Margaret "DeDe" Ellis of Columbia.
