View Funeral WebcastLorena House Massey Hann, 94, retired from Publix Manufacturing Company and private sitter and resident of Fiqures Avenue, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Dr. Rufus Clifford officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Scott County, Kentucky native was the daughter of the late William Russell House and Maude Daley House. She was a member of the Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Survivors include daughters, Janice Marie (Jimmy) Allen of Columbia and Alice Fay Crews of Mt. Pleasant; sons, Thomas Wayne (Ann) Massey of Estill Springs, Larry G. (Joyce) Massey of Fayetteville, Jimmy Douglas Massey of Nashville, and Donald Wray (Shoko) Massey of Oak Harbor, Washington; step-daughter, Ann (Eugene) Whitley of Columbia; sister, Edna (Vernon) Witherow of Columbia; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, William E. Massey and William A. Hann; a son, William E. Massey, Jr. and a grandson, James Kenneth Allen. Active pallbearers are Dwayne Massey, Steve Massey, Phil Allen, Mike Allen, Hal Brown, Hendley Edwards, Mike Flynt, and John Hunt. Honorary pallbearers are Myron Thomas, Robert M. McKay, Jr., Gordon Beck, Dr. Steve Simmons, Dr. John Worthman, Dr. Amit Choski, Dr. James Richardson, and Elders and Deacons of Jackson Heights Church of Christ.
