MISS LOU JENNY BEARD Miss Lou Jenny Beard, 65, died Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at her residence on Leiper's Fork Road. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Johnson's Chapel Cemetery with B.J. Ferguson officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of Ella Lou Beard Beard of the Bethel Community and the late Enoch Beard. She attended Johnson's Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she is survived by one sister, Sadie (Charles) Armstrong of the Fairview Community and two brothers, Robert Beard and Wayne Beard both of the Bethel Community. She was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Troy Beard. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
