Mrs. Louise Andrews Hardison, 88, long-time resident of the Nashville Highway, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Hayes and Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. On December 31, 1938 she married Arthur Hardison who preceded her in death on October 24, 1996. During their 57 years of marriage, Mrs. Hardison served as a devoted helpmate to Brother Hardison in his ministry to members of numerous congregations. She accompanied him as he served as preacher, visiting the sick and elderly, and conducting gospel meetings. In later years of his ministry, she served as his driver, allowing him to continue his work. She was an active volunteer at Maury Regional Hospital. She was a member of West 7th St. Church of Christ and former member of Beech Grove Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Joyce Hardison of the Zion Community, Mrs. Janice (Cecil) McNeese of Pulaski; two sons, Calvin (Betty) Hardison of Columbia, Charles "Chuck" (Janice) Hardison of Cornersville; nine grandchildren, Russell Hardison, Cindy Tomlin, Richard Hardison, Rodney Hardison, Tim McNeese, Randy McNeese, Greg McNeese, April Hardison, Alice Hardison; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Edna Hardison, Bricie Howard and five brothers, Herman Andrews, Glenson Andrews, Marvin Andrews, George Leaman Andrews and George Michael Andrews. Pallbearers are Tim McNeese, Randy McNeese, Greg McNeese, Rusty Hardison, Ricky Hardison, Rodney Hardison and Daryl Tomlin.
