Mrs. Louise Anderson Hardison, 95, resident of Brighton Gardens in Brentwood and former longtime resident of West Sixth Street in Columbia, died Monday, June 5, 2006, at Centennial Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Jacob officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 11:30 A.M. - 1:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Frank Anderson, Sr. and Maggie Bell Harris Anderson. She was married to Robert Eugene "Gene" Hardison, Sr. who preceded her in death on May 14, 1996. Mrs. Hardison was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and Middle Tennessee State University. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was very active for many years. Survivors include one son, Robert E. (Patricia) Hardison, Jr. of Nashville; four grandchildren, Robert E. Hardison, III, Mary Beth Lutz, Joanne Coffman, Maggie Hardison; six great grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Rachel Bevans of Old Hickory. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Leslie "Les" Taylor and one brother, Frank Anderson, Jr. Pallbearers will be Jim Bevans, Allen Coffman, Ron Lutz, Twyman Towery, Robert E. Hardison, III, and Bill Bevans. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Carl C. Gardner, David Wise, Ned Laughmiller, Rev. William Comperry, Ed Thomas, Carney Bell, and the late Mary & Cam Anderson.
