Louise House Linnie Louise Rose House, 93, former resident of Rutherford Lane, died Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Vassar and Dr. Robert "Jody" Gamble officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Giles County native was the daughter of the late John Campbell Rose and Ella Spain Due Rose. She was married for fifty three years to Porter House who preceded her in death November 18, 1989. She was a charter member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Billy (Linda) House of Columbia; five daughters, Shirley (Sammy) Boshers of Mt. Pleasant, Betty (Dan) Palenscar of Centreville, Virginia, Martha Sands, Patricia (Tommy) Kelley and Ruth Loveless all of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Judy Wright House of Columbia; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Gary House, one sister, Mabel Grissom, two brothers, Mahlon Rose and Dumont Rose, and one son-in-law, Michael Loveless. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ruth Sunday School Class at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church.
