Mrs. Louise Warren Jones, 91, former resident of Wedgewood Drive, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Hidden Acres Manor in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Elmer Crosby and Rev. Bob Adair officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was a long-time member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was married December 23, 1927 to Rev. Howard Jones, long-time and well-known Baptist preacher, who died in 1991. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Warren and Brenda Jones of Summertown; two sisters, Christine Lyles of Arab, Alabama and Betty (Buford) Hill of Pulaski; four grandchildren, Byron (Connie) Jones of Mt. Pleasant, Kimpy (Bill) Collins of Franklin, Starr (Brad) Taylor of Mt. Juliet, and Garrick Jones of Mt. Pleasant; three great-grandchildren, Ryan Holtsford of Franklin, Katelyn Jones of Mt. Pleasant, and Rowan Taylor of Mt. Juliet. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Jones and a son, Ricky A. Jones. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
