LOUISE JOHNSON PHILLIPS Mrs. Louise Johnson Phillips, 76, resident of Bishop Lane in the Burns Community, died Saturday, October 4, 2003 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother James Valentine officiating. Burial will be in the Morton Cemetery in Maury County. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Earl Johnson and Sally Fitzgerald Johnson. She was a member of the Elam Wright Baptist Church in the Fairview Community. Survivors include 5 daughters, Gale Hooks and Faye Burgess, both of the Burns Community, Ethel (Eddie) Elliott and Molly Spence, both of Dickson, Sandra (Larry) Crutcher of Spring Hill; 4 sons, Billy (Delores) Phillips, Sr. of Nashville, Eddie (Pam) Phillips, Sr. of Milan, Jimmy Phillips, Sr. of Dickson, Jackie Phillips of the Burns Community; a sister, Betty Pewett of Franklin; a brother, Calvin (Joyce) Johnson of Centerville; 41 grandchildren. She was the grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of more than 120 decendents. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rye Phillips and a son, Edward Ray Phillips. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
