Louise Ralston Young, 88, homemaker and retired switchboard operator at Maury Regional Hospital, died Thursday, April 17th at Columbia Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Rick Elsey officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. C. and Florence Horne Ralston of Mt. Pleasant and a long-time resident of Fleming Street in Riverside. She was married to the late William Everette Young who preceded her in death February 5, 1986. Mrs. Young was a charter member of West End Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Marcia) Young of Chattanooga and Richard (Barbara) Young of Brentwood; two sisters, Vivian Erwin of Bigbyville and Marie Harris of Franklin; four grandchildren, Bryan Young of Atlanta, Michael Young of Brentwood, Laurie Young, and Sarah (Danny) Thomas of Birmingham. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Kelley and brothers, William "Buddy" Ralston, Gene Ralston, and Carlos Ralston. Pallbearers are Billy Webb Smith, Douglas Young, Bryan Young, Michael Young, Andy McKee, Thomas Erwin, and Danny Thomas.
