MR. LUTHER E. CUMMINS Mr. Luther Edward Cummins, 91, retired farmer, died Friday, December 26, 2003 as a result of a fire at his residence on Stockard Road in the Culleoka Community. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 12:00 Noon at Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Franklin Cummins and Minnie Harris Cummins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Edmiston Cummins in 1981 and by a son, William Cummins in 1992. Survivors include a daughter, Marie Cummins Wilson of Culleoka; four sisters, Ima Bradley and Nina Lovett, both of Kentucky, Joyce Morris of Columbia and Lorna Jackyl of Yuma, California; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
