Luther E Loftin Jr

Mr. Luther Evan "L.E." Loftin, Jr., 85, retired associate at Fisher Electric and former resident of Figures Ave., died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Rosewood Manor. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30p.m. Friday at Rose Hill Cemetery with Dr. Jim Hughes officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 2 - 3p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Luther E. Loftin, Sr. and Ora Brown Loftin. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include three nephews, Robert Loftin of Riverside, California, Roger Loftin, Donald Loftin; devoted friend, Mildred Eastep of Columbia; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. Loftin and a niece, Sharon Jones. Family and friends will be active and honorary pallbearers.
