Lydia J. Wiley Powell

Lydia J. Wiley Powell, 68, homemaker and resident of Columbia, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 at NHC Columbia. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 12:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery. Born November 8, 1952 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late James Robert Wiley and the late Vera Mae Andrews Daniels. On November 25, 1970, she married Bobby Ray Powell who preceded her in death December 17, 2020. Mrs. Powell enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her brother, Jeffrey Dale (Janie) Wiley of Minor Hill; nieces and nephews, Lee (Terri) Vaughn, Amanda (J. Lauterbach) Vaughn, Adam (Karen) York, Ryan Wiley; several great nieces and nephews; and life-long family friend. Jody Dickinson.
