Mable Ruth Head Bailey

Mable Ruth Head Bailey, 86, former employee of Wal-Mart, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at he residence on Rainier Drive. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Funeral services and burial will be conducted at later date in Alabama. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late George Henry Head and Fannie Mai Whitworth Head. She married Webb Bailey who preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Hay of Columbia, Barbara Moon of McDonough, Georgia; son, Kenneth Hatley of Zebulion, Georgia; brothers, Gardner (Mildred) Head of Columbia, Roy F. (Doris Ann) Head of Clarksville; grandchildren, Rhonda Brady, Michelle Williams, Mickey Hay, Brittany Belvin, Yvonne Wardlaw, Angie Moon, Shane Brock; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Belvin; sister, Doris Choate; and numerous other siblings.
