MRS. MABLE McCANDLESS Mrs. Annie Mable Street Vaughn McCandless, 78, resident of West 10th Street, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday after 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Betty Ann (Norman) Nash ofLeitchfield, Kentucky, Annie Ruth King of Lewisburg, Carolyn Faye (Neal) Griggs and Sherry Darlene (William) Scribner both of Columbia; three sons, Johnny Baxter (Cheryl) Vaughn, Jr. and LeRoy Vaughn both of Columbia, Ronald Stephen (Dorene) Vaughn of Summertown; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two sons, Lemual Walter Vaughn, Charles "Chuck" Vaughn and twelve brothers and sisters.Pallbearers will be Johnny Baxter Vaughn, Jr., Ronald Stephen Vaughn, Neal Griggs, Donnie Huddleston, Ronny Sheeter, Charles Vaughn, Jr., Lee Vaughn and Reed Poling.
