Mable Irene Roberson Paul

Mrs. Mable Irene Roberson Paul, 74, died Monday, September 29, 2008 at her residence on Buffalo Road in Lawrenceburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. W. L. Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Clifton Roberson and Susie Cathy Roberson. She was a homemaker and member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Collinwood. Survivors include her husband, Walter Douglas "Buck" Paul of Lawrenceburg; four daughters, Debbie (Joe) Pipkin, Gaye (Donnie) Lovell, Pilar (Jerry) Candler, Missy Gowan all of Columbia; one sister, Marjorie Johnson of Watertown; nine grandchildren, Todd (Celena)Westmoreland, Griffin Twilla, Jason (Shannon) Lovell, Honey (Chris) Sharp, Nikki (Mike) Basnaw, Jerrica (Jake) Sykes, Aubrie Candler, Jenna Gowan, Savannah Gowan; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Lovell, Todd Westmoreland, Griffin Twilla, Chris Sharp, Mike Basnaw, Jake Sykes, Wayne Arrington and Donald Paul.
